exactly just how rare is a gtus??? i know they only made 100 in 90....but how many did they make in 89. and why did they stop makin them in the first place??

They are pretty rare from what I remember when I was looking for one. on ly like 10 black ones made in 90...

There really isnt any official documentation on numbers.

 

This stupid kid i knew bought the GTUs and Totaly trashed it. Didnt know how to drive a stick so he messed up the tranny. TRIED shaving the strips off the sides of the car and messed up the body. Then He blew the motor and after that he just took it to a crusher and crushed it. Poor car

 

I hate when people do that!
I learned how to drive stick on an '89 toyota corrola and killed the crap outta the engine. It was already a piece of junk, but to go and kill a perfectly good sports car because you have no idea how to drive/fix your car just pisses me off... anyway, whew... i feel better now
<HINT> get a beater car if you don't know how to drive/fix your car!!! best way to learn IMO
