Well I removed the door and front fender.. And accidentally put a small dent in the rear quarter.. (ill fix it, but how pissed was I??)

I am going to paint the interior floors and what not black.. So my question is the front subframe, should I paint it black, or do it white like the body? I am leaning towards black for the subframe and engine bay. The body is going to be white. But I want the lack of carpet to be masked by the black paint in the floorboards..

Well I sourced a set of S5 Front and rear bumpers.. I am trying to work out a deal for S5 side mouldings.. So it appears the the car will have the "s5" facelift, sans the taillights.....

I will probably tint the tails like my 88se had, and install the LED RED trailer lights in the housings..

when u say front subframe, do you mean the cross member? leave it black no one will see it . Id suggest color matching the engine bay white with the body..

Hell i had a burgundy 240sx and i spray canned teh engine bay with white appliance expoxy paint before i swapped it and got a paint job and it came out great.

*it was a street car so i dont really care about how "show quality" it had to be*

I'm very interested to see how this turns out. I'm currently saving to get my own fc. I've seen some like this for sale and just been blown away. I'm glad to see your actually saving it from abandonment.

The color code is on the little metal plate w/vin# next to the wiper mortor as well. Is that plate still on the car?
