What you do is, get a craftsman screwdriver (so you can replace it free in case it breaks) on the screw, and then give it a good whack to set it free!

Then, there is also the "Drill em out" way, but that's messy and uncomfortable.

I'm installing ARP extended studs on my S5 (rear) and I understand that I need to remove the hub in order to install the extended studs. I've removed the caliper, rotor, and 32mm nut. Now it is time to remove the hub, but I want to know if I need a press to remove the hub?

Also what is the torque spec required to tighten the 32mm nut on the hub?

For anyone that doesn't know, if you do not have the Factory Service Manual (FSM) for your vehicle, you can download it for free at http://www.rx7city.com/TECHCONNECT.HTM I HIGHLY recommend doing this. Any questions regarding how to service the vehicle or troubleshooting will be answered in it.

Torque specifications on the Rear axle nut is 174-231 ft-lbs per the S4 FSM.
