How much would you pay for a Coil

So what is the maximum you guys/gals would pay for a Rx7 na 86 ignition Coil. Also why are they so expensive and why do the leading and trailing differ in price so drasticly ?

$30. They are common as hell, and they rarely fail, so anyone parting a car should have one.

Just bought one off of a board member for $45 shipped to my door.

Doubt I would pay much more. Go to the local junkyard as well. I went last weekend and found upwards of 10 cars with coils in them. Take a multi-tester with you as well so you can test it before you leave with it.
