Lightbulb How much Vacuum you guys got?

How much VACUUM do you guys have at IDLE on your TIIs? I am worried mine is too low. Right now, at 800rpm I get 11. Is that the right amount? Also is it possible NOT TO SHOW A VACUUM LEAK AT IDLE, but it can HAPPEN under driving acceleration?

14 in/hg at 750rpm on a 87turboii. My 87na gets 16 in/hg at 750. Always puzzled me, the difference. Lower compression ratio on the turbo make a difference? Don't wanna hear anything about it being a worn out engine. Its possible to have a vac leak that is not detectable using normal methods. The egr diaphram could be ruptured internally and causing a vac leak and so could the switching diaphram in the acv(be busted and leaking causing a vac leak).

17-18 inches,
depeding how rich or lean i make the mixture, also how much timing advance I give it. I have a haltech which lets me do that. I also have a brand new rebuilt.

My T2 does about 13 at idle I think (and it idles a little low, about 700)

I think the reason vacuum is less on a T2 is because the turbo is spinning just a little bit, and lessening the vacuum effect. or something

should be between 15 and 20. if it's lower then 15 you either have a vac leak or your engines almost dead.
