How much are TIIs worth?

I'm searching for a car, either a Silvia conversion or an FC. So far it's leaning towards the FC. Found a Turbo II for $5000, but it wasn't worth the asking price, because it had something like 155,000 miles on it. Then I e-mailed a guy about a thousand miles away about his friend's black FC with 34,000 miles, and he probably wants the car for himself so he didn't reply to my PMs or E-mails.
Then I find a Turbo II with 24,000 miles on it on Autotrader, but the problem is, it's one of those small car dealers and they're asking $7995 (fancy way of saying "$8000"). I can already tell it's a rip, but what's the actual value of an RX7 like that?

I might be looking at it this weekend.

Most you should ever spend on a 98-91 TII:$5k
87-88:$4k

Make sure the engine has been replaced. The engine blows at about 120k miles, so you do the math. Get receipts for the new engine, and be patient. I am begining my TII hunt as well, and it just takes time...

I've been looking at TIIs for a friend of mine for about 4 months now. I have one myself and would like to help him to get a hold of one.

So far all the good TII cars are out in CALI. instead of out here on the East Coast.

If you go to autotrader.com right now, you will find at least 4 TurboII for sale.

hollar if you see something on the this coast.

Prices:

(Yes, these prices are pretty accurate IF you read the fine print)

What to look for when buying an RX-7:

Where to get a REAL sportscar, hehehe. Yes, these are non-turbos, but they are a good option if you want a fast non-turbo:

(IT is easily converted to street use if not already street legal)
