How much is a T2 Engine/tranny worth
Hey guys I am just curious how much is a complete T2 engine and tranny worth in good working condition with 60k. That would include the entire engine the turbo all piping and the intercooler.
ALso how much is a complete non turbo 13b with tranny worth?
Let me know
Thanks

hate to break it to you but honestly no turbo rotary "with 60k mi." (are you talking about a jspec) should be considered in "good shape" do not try to buy a jspec and just put in your car without rebuilding it you will be wasting your time. do it right the first time and you will save a lot of wasted hrs. of labor and headaches removing junk engines from your car. p.s. dont listen to those "warranties" from the jdm importers, they dont honor them, i know about 1/2 dozen people that got burned form various jspec importers.
rebuild using teflon encapsuled o rings.! that way no more coolant ring failure due to stock buna rubber seals!

Assuming no syncro or bearing issues and same mileage
ASpec anywhere from $100 - $150
JSpec anywhere from $75 to $125.
And, as with anything, there is exception to experience. The supplier of JSpec engines I got mine from really stands behind. It helps a lot if you can find a local vendor where you can do a compression test before buying.
Absolutly no engine issues with the JSpec I used for my otherwise ASpec TII converstion to my S4 Vert. A friend of mine got one from him with coolant issues and got it replaced with not even a hint of resistance. The supplier said it happens to him quite rarely so easy to absorbe the costs.
