Im trying to buy a TII engine for my vert but already have the stuff from the flywheel back. I found one but the guy originaly quoted $850 for engine trans n ecu. what should i offer for the engine and ecu. He also has a turbo im gonna buy for $350. its a hybrid turbo.

 

$500-800 for the engine (s4) if it comes complete with ecu and wiring harness..

But FYI the Vert ECU will run a turbo motor....

 

well im going to send out the turbo ecu to have a rtek 2.1 installed in the near future. Also for got to mention that the engine has 84k miles on it. I will definetly do a compression test on it before buying it.

 

just the block or manifolds and everything? if its everything id go like $450-550 depending on condition. 84k is quite alot, especially if you have to pay someone to rebuild it (and even if you do it yourself, rebuild kits are like 800+ depending on what all you get).

also, even if you want the TII ecu to get it rtek'd, you can keep your harness. just minor rewiring and you wont have the useless knock sensor. (this is true for NA coupes, i think so for verts, might wanna check)
