Cool How much power are you guys puttin' down?

Hey...

Just wondering how much power you guys are putting down!

Right now i'm puttin' down about 1mpbc ("Man Pushing Behind Car Power)" ... Soon to be a Haltech'd (YES... came in the mail yesterday), T04'd, irresponsibly-driven-by-a-17-year-old car :-)

Show those numbers!

Bone-stock 1989 TurboII, 2 dyno pulls, put avg of 175 hp and 168 ft-lb to the wheels.

I had thought I was low on boost. Turns out my car's just heavy as all hell...

unless he has a B16A (1 or 2) swap or the ZC CRX JSPEC motor, no american CRX has 160hp stock. the most i think was 127.

Well, once I had about 550 lb feet of torque...

That was while being towed by a big diesel tow truck!

Really though, maybe 190 wheel HP. maybe more, maybe less.
I'll feed my times through a dyno prog...

re re re re re re verts rule!!!!!!

'89 vert bonez intake, bonez race pipe w/pre, monza exhaust pulled
176@7300 hp & 158@4200 torque

note: I ran a test when it was stock - 168@7000 hp & 147@4000 torque
alot higher then the book says.

I bought this new in '89 tested it first in 96 still stock then. Mods came last year also hit 100,000mile. Havnt had it in to test since i put the nos in, but WOW what i kick in the *** that gives it when you hit 4k

I like to here more on vert owners performance but sadly they just buyum for cruzin not rodding =

about the CRX i am a former honda boy ya dont flame me for it i didnt kno what i was doing lol but anyways the stock CRX in the USA was not 160hp not even close also VTEC was not on the CRX in the US it was a single over head cam engine not very fast so if you run into any CRX's in the US with a DOHC its had an engine swap

Hmm... seems like we're lacking (with a few exceptions... ahem ... soul assassin ) the level of insanity attained by lots of the FD owners who're all trying for 693.7 rwhp (hehe).

My goal is to whoop up on all the 16 year old kids in the SoCal7s club with 3rd Gens (grr... wouldn't even give me a ride last time...) 320 rwhp should do that quite nicely...

All you guys buy my NA parts so I can get a new clutch and stick everything in the car

Keep them numbers comin'!
