How much oil do you use?
I've put almost 6000 miles into my reman engine.
Every time I check the oil level it's full.
I always changed my oil around 2000 miles and I always get back around 4 and something quarts of oil back. Is this normal?
What's the oil consumption on everybody's cars?

ive got a reman engine too, about 2000mi. i followed the break-in 'rules' and changed it at 600 miles. It used 1/3 of a qt. then... Now, everytime i check my oil its full. But i can actually see teh oil flowing through teh metering lines so i dont think anything of it.

1 quart of oil every 1000 miles is what Mazda says is perfectly OK oil consumption. That's very generous, don't be surprised if you usually find it is a lot less than that.
The OMP will only inject oil into the chamber when the engine is under heavy load. How hard do you drive?
pd, if you're getting 4.x quarts of oil back and you put in 5 to begin with, you have nothing to worry about.
