How much HP would an RB header gain?
I performed a search, and couldn't really find many results for how much horsepower/torque the RB header actually picked up. Could anyone give me an idea of how much power I could gain if I bolted on a Racing Beat header and ran a custom connecting pipe to the main catalytic converter? I already have an intake, cat-back, and an S-AFC II.
first off why would you go from a header to a cat. you should just remove the damn cat's because you would fail emission with a header on so if you want to be illegal you might as well do it all the way. only way you are gonna gain power is if you go straight through without going through cats period b/c you restrict the flow. Just run a header to custom midpipe to custom catback system like apexi n1's or use a uncollected header to 2 midpipes to 2 muffs ez way ... But cats + header there is no point in that.

You talking about the streetable header or the road race header?
If you read what they say about the streetable header, the header was intended for cars with carbuerated engines. The stock exhaust manifold is better for EFI.
For optimum performance gains for this application, we recommend that a header be used on an engine configured with a carburetor intake system. For this reason, we suggest another suitable configuration for use on a fuel-injected engine is the Racing Beat Catalytic Converter Replacement Pipe with Presilencer combo. These components offer comparable performance gains, quieter performance and a price advantage as compared with the header/presilencer combination. These components replace only the stock exhaust components located between the stock exhaust manifold and the Y-pipe.
Thats the setup I have. Replacement pipe and presilencer. I want to get their Y-pipe when I get some new mufflers, but I have the stock exhaust manifold. I don't have any dyno info to say how much performance is gained.

Snub, I don't smell anything from my exhaust when I'm sitting still, and once moving, i don't know what the people behind me would smell.
I don't know how much power difference would be gained by the header vs. the straight pip and silencer, but its just something I noticed when I was reading about their products when I was looking for an exhaust upgrade for my car.
