Hmmm... The car has 87K original miles - Seems to be running pretty solid @ this point. When should I consider a rebuild?

Ok, a little help for you. A boost controller's purpose is not to decrease boost, but to increase it. The lowest boost you can run is the spring in your wastegate. From there, the BC can increase the boost to your desired level. That is the basic explanation, should give you a good idea. No cats reduces backpressure which is an overall good thing on rotaries. You seem to be getting the right idea, but that Turbo Timer comment was hilarious!

13b my car is together and the only thing that worries me about it currently is the it has stock ecu on the half bridgeport. and it does have power. the gas mileage sucks *** at 8 mpg but i expect almost double after i have it tuned professionaly. and it idles at 1700 rpm. oddly it seems to run better in the cold.

anyone know who can port my intake manifolds? Any local shops around that I can ship it too? I dont want to cut-into the manifold. I've read - read - read and read. It seems like a big job for a newbie.
