how much hp with Jspec?

A friend of mine is having a series 4 Jspec engine installed and he says they make 200 hp stock. Also I'm supposed to run him when it gets finished and his mods along with the Jspec are: hks intake, full RB exhaust, and walbro 255 around how much hp will he be making?

They make the same 182 hp as stock. Only the 89-91's make 200 hp. Guess numbers is worthless, just have it dyno'd.

Seeing that you have similar mods, have you ran at the track and if so what was your time. I'm just tryin to get an idea of what to expect.

Never ran on a track. Ran on a g-tech though. I got a 14.8 with no launch, plus I blew my motor 3/4 of the way into the run.

'japanese spec' ..they are engines imported directly from japan. usually taken out of cars with around 30K miles or so on them.

J-spec means "japan spec" also called JDM (japan domestic market).
It's a stock replacement engine usually from a totalled RX-7 over there.
For 2nd gens, the only difference between the jspec and us-spec engines are no EGR on the jspecs. Same power.

Ok, most of our Rx's are Jap inports as there where very few Genuine Uk examples left and we got both the Hard and soft top T2's but our Gen 3's are only 245bhp (and less than 100 left on the road)
