How much HP gain with ported Turbo, waistgate & manifold?

I was thinking of selling the 88 T2, but hey, its paid for, might as well make it better! I know a guy with a rebuilt stock ported turbo with ported wastegate & a ported manifold...How much HP might this bring with my mods? How much boost might I be pushing? Anyone have experence with this type of setup? Thanks for all imput...

Thanks much! I must say...Thats one of the sweetest Turbo's I have ever seen! It reminds me of my X much cleaner red 87 T2! (Before I was pulled out in front of) Well as we speak, the new turbo is going on! Was yours the stock turbo, but just ported as well? Any idea how much boost your pushing now?
Thanks again!

Thanks for the comment! Mine was the stock turbo that was sent out to be rebuilt and ported. I don't run more than 11psi at the max.

Sounds good, I am thinking arounf 10psi to try & be safe. With your Walbro and I assume stock injectors, how rich/lean does it run at 11psi? Did you have the Walbro before your new turbo? Thanks much for any other imput!

The cars runs good at 11psi. I dont want to up it anymore cause I still run the stock intercooler. I got the fuel pump after the turbo was put on. I didnt need it at first cause the exhaust was too much of a restriction for it to flow more. Hope that helps.

Yep, it helps! It sounds like where I want mine to be at! I see you ahve a AF gauge, does it run quite safe with the Walbro? I am not familure with that gauge, but does it show good amount of fuel at high boost? Thanks much!
