How much to fix locks?

How much would it cost to fix the driver and passenger side door locks? can i buy parts and just do it my self for cheap?

you could probably buy some on the classifieds for say $25 w/ the key (lock only, not both door handles). labor is free if you do it yourself.

I am assuming that the "lock" is not the issue as the release mechanism on the handle. It is a free fix. Run a search for "j rat fix", great tutorial on this topic. I modified his airplane wire mod with conventional houshold romex 14-2 copper wire. No issue after like 8 months. You probably do mean locks though and none of this is any help.

I believe the locks themselves are like $50 each.
You have to remember that the locks are "blanks" - they need to be keyed to match your key, and it should be able another $50 to do this.
So you're looking at around $100 per lock keyed to your set of keys.
That's just for the parts...

I can sell you a complete lock set with key for 120 shipped.
This would include both doors, ignition, and rear hatch

no too sure, haven't check it out the car yet, this is from what the current owner told me. thanks for the info though .

That sounds good, is it going anywhere? I am currently looking into buying an rx7, and the one i am currently looking at has this problem. For my information would that also be for shipping to v3n 1l1 canada bc?
