9500 for MINT S5 TII with 53k original miles. 9k on streetported Pineapple engine, 20k on rebuilt tranny, microtech tuned by KDR, etc etc. 285rwhp@10psi. I feel like my car was worth the price considering how mint it is and engine and tranny being basically new.
1989 GTU with exaust, s-afcII, short shifter, near perfect interior, beautiful exterior with a few scratches. 81K on body, 30K on motor. By the end of it around 4200 bucks.
Its ok, she is MORE than worth it to me. I don't feel like I made a bad descision at all.

I got mine for arond 650$, not working at all, 201,900 miles. cranked but didn't start. completely stock, or worse than stock (gunk all inside intake box), rollin on hubcaps.
before:

After: more than 36 mods in all. (GTU 15s will be put on after the 5 lug conversion).

I paid 3k for my 86 Sport ( I think
) 76k orginal miles, 5sp, champaign color ( gold ), perfect interior. Not a crack, hole, dirt spot on the dash, rug, both in front and hatch, are spotless, leather trim on seats is flawless. It's the nicest Rx-7 I could find for 400 miles ( that was 5sp and/or not a vert ). I'm not kidding... I drove from Philly to Richmond VA to pick it up, 400 miles/7-8 hours

Yeah I paid way to much for my car, well its more that everyone else told me to buy it and I should have stuck with what I thought. It had some problems so I did not look it over to well, I knew the engine was going to need to be replaced (a month later it blew). Then doing all kinds of work on the car I found a **** load of other problems. I hate the damn thing but very soon it will be better than new, other than a few dents and a paint job...
Oh right now my estimated total for what i put in the car since I bought it in October...... $17k including the cost of the car...........

88 tII for 3700 with a mild streetport j spec motor. circle taillights done interior was 8 out of 10 and exterior minor dings and stock paint was 7 out of 10. motor was rebuilt also and had 126k original miles.
originally got my 10th anniversary for 4900 with 83,000
miles and intake catback trust exhaust and boost gauges and turbo timers perfect condition except for the leather seats but they would have been swapped out even if they were in mint condition
