here's a pic of my '87 TII which i bought last weekend for $1300.

owner had an overheat problem and his mechanic said it needed a rebuild. i added coolant and it drives fine.




the motor is going to be out soon though for a rebuild anyways and a streetport. it has 160k miles and drives like it just came off the showroom.

 

3900 for my 90 gxl in near perfect condition.

 

5900 for my T2, great-excellent condition with a few after market goodies.

 

4500 perfect s4 tii with 81k

 

900 for my 86 GXL with 157k miles on chassis(compression is 115 so i think its a rebuild)

 

$260 for my 88 GTU with 115k and a bad motor. $350 for a motor and it's back up and running.

 

$6000 for 91 convert with rebuilt engine 3K on it, new top, clean.

 

3100 for a N/A GXL, 80k mi., near mint cond.

 

dammn yanks j/k the cheapest FC turbos down here are around the $10000 mark...

 

$10,100.00 for my 1990 TII, but turbo blew 300km's l8er and engine went aboout 1500km's after that! so Really was not worth it at the time... but now... it is in the past and i have one sweet machine!

Sounds exactly like my TII. But I did end up needing a radiator and water pump. But same price/condition pretty much.

 

i paid 1250 with 120000km's on rebuild and 335000km's on body, it'll keep up with a stripped gxl with a hugly ported motor, header and presilencer, perty good so i'm happy. the pervious owner got banned from west virginia for driving 125m/h.

 

$600 for a 87 TII with 93K.... was supposed to be a blown engine, but was a stuck/loose AFM.... :P

 

$7500 for a 10AE with 11..... see the sig. Absolutely flawless, seat covers - leather has never been sat on. always garaged every winter, driven in only sunny weather. (this guy was a nut) and started asking $22000 for it....

 

300 USD for an 89 TII with 127k on the odo.
Needs ~2-3k dollars dropped into her but hell I don't give a ****.

$1500 for a perfect condition 87 TII, no scratches or dings, new clutch, perfect interior. 81k original miles that was well maintaned. Got it from an old family friend, what a deal..

Interior is spotless. Power everything works except rear whiper. The hood needs a repaint other than that the car is spotless.
Paid $3000 CAD...

 

I can't believe some of these deals. What gives? I wish I could find a car that cheap.
