So since i have a crashed FC (only front end body damage) and I found a 66k mi Miata (legit california car) and is show room quality, I'm seriously considering buying it. He wants 5900 for it but said he would take 5600 for it (and i could probably get him down to 5400). It has power every thing. Timing belt redone at 60k, completely oem, 5-speed with great pedal feel and steeing response.

I want to try and part out and sell the parts of my car and take the body to a junk yard or sell it as a shell or something, so coming from a forum of experts, how much do you think I could get for everything?

A list of any modifications would help if you want round about prices and a search through the 2nd gen for sale and your local for sale may give you an idea on what the going prices are on used oem parts. gl

 

Mainly everything is stock but replacement and after market parts are:

BFGoodrich radial t/a tires
All new ngk plugs
Royal purple oiled engine
Cleaned injectors
A few other odd and ends replaced but not too much

 

you will get a lot more for all the miscellaneous electronics and do dads that don't normally work.

switches and relays as well.

who cares what oil you used in the engine. it doesnt speak for the engine at all. you can use the best oil you can find in a 200k mile engine all you want, and still not get very much money from it.

and post pics of the damaged area... what condition is the radiator in?

 

All the electronics work and are in the car. Only thing that sucks are the speakers are blown I think (I don't listen to my radio so idk really).

I do have the undertray

The radiator is not damaged and only has 3000 mi on it.

I'll post pics when I can, they're all on my phone. Pretty much everything up to the brace that goes across the front in front of the radiator is smashed up. The passenger fender is unharmed though.

 

thats probably just the bumper needing replaced. does it run? the front bumper isnt hard to replace.

 

It's a lot more than the front bumper, its literally everything up to the radiator. My car is just overall unreliable and I need a car that's gonna last me for a good number of years and that miata will do just that.
