Yeah I know. I cant really control how much boosting happens. Except by not going into full boost (which Im not doing anymore until I get some 720s).

Mine is around 24-27 during cruise. one rip gets it in the mid thirties, two rips gets it to mid 40's, and 3 rips is the mid fifties and higher..
a rip is like 2 full gears.. 2nd and 3rd.

I just wonder, because of the sitting, and the sketchyness of those motors.. we've even gotten them blown, the motor I'm using had vacuum hoses ran off the wastegate and turbo real long, for a boost controller..

even though the engine had stock injectors.......

So I'm not all that confident in my jspec...

For cruising yes.

But full load around the track 50-60C is pretty common. My setup will do that without the AI on, my friends 400whp 35R FD will also sit at 55-58C (no AI) with a large, ducted SMIC.

But just cruising should only be a few degrees over ambient.

We seem to do alright, in around 80 degree weather, me and a buddie of mine are both at 24-30C cruising.

If I rip it with the top mount mine goes up 5 degrees Celsius. If he rips it with the thick/large front mount he has, he might gain 1 degree C.
He's around 400 as well, with a nicely ducted front mounted FD.

I donno though

I'm not talkign about rippign it through a few gears...
55-60C is on the track meaning 25 minute sessions at redline and full boost.

Ya, I've whipped on mine pretty hard and with 14 llbs it nearly caps out at around 60. I never seen it get any hotter than that. But how fast the heat comes on is what gets to me. It's seriously 4 gear pulls and I'm at 50 at least.
