Okay, when advancing timing, how far can one go before it causes detonation on an n/a. 6-8 is a number i have seen, has anyone gone further and seen even more positive results! Would upping the octane number allow for even further advancement

 

hhmm.. i dunno man, i was runnin like ~15-17 advance with no problems. Low-medium octane gas depending on how hot it was just to be extra cautious.
