It's definitely a lil louder and has pretty good response but we won't really know without real testing
That cover you have between your radiator and the front bumper has eliminated the path for air to get to the airbox. Not sure why you did that, but I would remove it and put the stock plastic back in.

So many options, that's why I am using the stock setup, its good for moderate performance and helps reduce boost creep.

I think I remember seeing something like that, too.

It's going to rain tommorow, so instead of replacing my rear brakes, I may just go to grinding down all the ribs in my airbox.

When you complete this project let us know how the ribless air box works when you finish. Also what about removing the divider in the lid where the snorkle attaches to the airbox. I know it is small but it has to create a bit of turbulence in the air flow.

He drilled "holes" in the rivets to remove them. No holes in the box though.

The divider i am refering to is between the part removed by drilling the rivets out and rubber gromit that attaches the air box to the snorkel.

Really late to my own party on this one but, you are reffering to the divider in the snorkel tunnel attached to the airbox. It poses no restriction and is there to help support the tube and keep it from caving in.

I got to run by the shop tomorrow (also known as work) to remedy a few electrical problems I am having (I specialize in auto electrical), but I may stick around and go ahead and mod the snot out of my airbox...or maybe even build something new, I am not sure yet.

If I don't go to the shop, that means I woke up and my wife has other plans for me or, I am so tired of being there I just don't go, we'll see.
