I'll take one right here please! I don't have a T2 though. Currently it's a tossup on which will be my next car. A busted 3rd gen or a T2 to turn into a streetable racecar. Both have some reason they are better(for my puposes) than the other in my opinion.

If you're gonna give me one, hell yeah I'll take it. Then sell it. I only like the way they look.

I'd rather have an FD. Nothing against the T2's, just like FD's more.

I'd take an FC over an FD anyday. Look a lot nicer.

Of course I'd also rather have an FB over an FC (better looks/lighter), and I'd rather have an SA over an FB (even better looks/TONS lighter).

I'm one of the rare people that thinks Mazda did it right the first time and shouldn't have messed with it. The first-gen Miata is a close approximation of perfect, because it's light like an SA, has SA-style gigundo popup lights, feels just like an SA where all the controls are placed, yet it has a good suspension like an FD. Now if only they made a Miata with a rotary... oh well the 1.6l even *feels* like a 12A, no power till the tach needle twists off and then WHAMMO, and they're pretty idiotproof like a rotary, so it's a pretty close approximation.

Damn. 3 RX-7s and now I wanna get a 1.6 Miata. I need some super-rich baron to leave me a nice inheritance or something. (I found out today that I've got a direct maternal relation to Polish royalty for that that's worth )

I thought about a FD (I really enjoyed my sisters while she had it) but decided that I'd rather have a FC that:

#1 was paid for
#2 I could work on and tweak when I wanted too, not because something was broke.
#3 Because I already had all the shop manuals from my 87 sport and 88 GTU.
#4 Parts are cheap and available everywhere because they built 100000 of them (unlike the FD and its 7000 a year average production runs).

I really wanted one for a long time and last Oct. I bought one. I don't regret it. I don't like the payments but I don't regret it. Don't get me wrong I am a 2nd genner to the core of me but my 93 is a nice addition

FD. Looks pro. Course it's nice to be in an FC and blow away new mustangs and camaros cause they don't expect it.

I agree totally. They look awesome, but just arent a well rounded car. Fast, handles great, but has more than its fair share of problems. And the build quality, especially the interior makes me want to cry. I would take an FC any day over an FD.

Id rather have an FC than FD. I wouldn't mind an FD, but FC for me.

I'd love the FD but for the price factor where i come from it becomes more realistic to have anf FC and thats why i still am with my FC!!

True FCers. They may have their stylish looks and handling. But I've grown to love FCs and I don't even have mine yet! Realistically I would take a FC over an FD, hell take two or three for the price. Mainly the looks, I mean the engine is nice and all, but not much a 13bt can't do.
Plus the looks of FCs are great as well. Same with all RX-7s. And I'm sure there are just as many 1st gen junkies too

FD is one of my dream cars, but when I got enough money to buy one outright I decided not to. My TII was literally 1/10th the price and has an equal aftermarket so I can build it how I want. The reliability nighmares also frightened me off... I hope to have one badass FC!

FD's suck. they were built way to cheaply to keep selling costs down, and because of it have too many problems. I'll keep my FC untill I buy my 911 awd turbo
