I've been considering removing my AC and PS for a while now. I love the look of a bare block. I have a vert, so there's no use for AC anyway. My only concern is removing the PS bc of the extra weight of the vert. Can anyone running no PS on a vert comment as to the feel and ease of steering?

got rid of my a/c and ps. I love it. Feels like a real sports car now.
I parallel park all the time and never have a problem, and i just blocked off the power steering rack. The room under the hood is awesome to.

I'm like a lot of people on here. My TII is a 85% track and 15% street usage car so I don't miss my A/C and it's an S4 TII so a full manual rack came standard anyway.

It's my daily driver - gotta have them.
I did take out the 15 lb ABS.
Want to save weight to make up for them?
Take out the spare tire & jack.
Only fill the tank half full.

Mine came without AC and I removed the perfectly good PS because it was too slow and I was constantly catching up to it at autocrosses. I've never regretted taking it out. AC would be nice, but the extra space, cooling ability and lighter weight are nice too.

I removed both, the AC was due to the fact that I LOVE warm\hot weather! Up here in VA, IMHO, you only need the AC for those HOT summer days; which sadly, only last for like 3 months a year
The PS, I jus went crazy while I was removing the AC, so it went out the window too The only downside to not having PS is when parking or trying to maneuver the car at any speed under 5 MPH.

Some say that PS is good for autocross, well it was hurning my performance. In fast transitions at slow speeds (going from large steering angles in on direction to large steering angles in the opposite direction) the power steering couldn't keep up and the steering would get really heavy all of a sudden. This is BAD! Once I removed the PS it was nearly as light except when parking, so there's no real downside, other than the occasional excercise when parking. I've never regretted it for one second.
