Talking Hit 195,000 miles today

Well i just hit 195k on my 87 gxl na.I just wanted to say that if anyone is worried that there car wont last long.Just do the regular maintanence and take care of her! Ive owned four cars all i bought and ill tell you this car has been the most reliable! My taurus tranny went at 130k,my gmc needs valvestem seals, and my hyundai ...well its a hyundai..hehe.
I drive my 7 60+ miles a day in city traffic delivering pizza's Sometimes it get's 110 out and in winter its about 50+ out at any given time.
And every weekend i take her out and ruff her up alittle, do some highway runs late at night..fastest to date is about 137. I guess im just happy with this car its the best car ive evr had.Its never overheated or broken down i love this car!

Thanks for the encouragement. Do you take good care of your car? I thought that rotaries weren't supposed to last past 150,000, but I guess you prove that theory wrong hehe.

From what i have read and understood, a rotary can last between 200000 and 250000 before it needs rebuilt if taken care of properly, a turbo verson lasts about half that. But congrats on reaching the 195000 point

Wow, then you are lucky. Ill never have an rx7 with an auto trans...I think it takes away from soo much of the cars fun. But if it still works then why mess with its settings. You have any plans for when she does finally decide to not be her best?
