The front of the differential will rise up and strike the body. Notice that the driveshaft is attached to the front of the differential, and just imagine what harm is being done to the u-joint on the driveshaft(u-joints are not replaceable on factory driveshaft so you have to buy another driveshaft$$$$$$$$$). You'll also get a thump when stopping. Its a son of a gun to replace. Not just remove two nuts and put a new one on type thing. There is a description of how to done last December somewhere. Rates right up there with doing work under the dash, just harder.Oh yes, the thing cost 80-125 bucks.
So a straight answer to your question about what happens, is, you get poorer, your voice rises in anger and curse words, and you lose the better part of a saturday replacing it.

It makes very loud cluncking noises every time to accl qucik, or decell qucikly...
I know... mines broken
Alot of people replace the mount with a piece of angle iron instead of the mounts to keep form replacing it every 2 months.

Yeah...what Scott said. My passenger side motor mount was broken and I replaced the "y block" transmission mounts (2 of them). My selector lever would move around alot when on rough roads...now it does not move at all.

When I launch my car @ 4000rpm, it get a constant banging in the back. I thought that was from the shocks or something, but I guess this could be the diff hitting the undercarriage? So the mount could be bad?
