How many miles?

How many miles are on your car? how well does it run? lets hear it!

I just hit 195,600 miles on the chassis on my 1987 Turbo 2. Engine is ready for a rebuild, stock intercooler, stock boost level(creeps on the interstate to about 9 due to the 3" straight exhaust all the way to the racing beat stage 2 catback, but i tuned it rich since i drive mainly interstate), stock rims, If i dont modify this car any time soon i will see another 30,000 miles on it.

I want to hear about some high mileage 2nd gen's who's got the most miles?

Sig. Runs great. Used to have another with over 200k that looked awful butran great. Printed a post for another from a guy with 367k on his rebuild (100k before that). It's all about simple maintenance, especially the cooling system (coolant changes, thermostat, hoses, etc.).

117k on the chasis
about 15k on the motor. . .
and it runs like a champ
given it needs a tune (rich as all hell)
so far it's broken mostly everything else
motor/trans/diff mount and subframe bracket for diff
sounds fast, but really isn't lol
more like. . .sounds like gunshots :-D

Bought it with 87,000 and a blown motor. Has 89K now. I would give the exterior an 8.5, the interior an 8.5 and the motor a 10 because it has about 1,400 miles on it.

235,000 miles on my 87 Luxury which could use a rebuild, but is alright for now.
Interior is a 9, almost mint, but missing 2 vents and has seat covers. The exterior has no rust, but has faded paint on the roof and hatch and a primered hood. There's a pic in my sig if you click '87 luxury' or w/e...

174,9something. The wiring harness was cut clean in half.. I haven't checked the numbers, but it appears a 'redneck swap' was performed. Meaning the wiring harness was cut where it was most convenient, the new motor put in and it's wiring harness rather poorly spliced into the original. Fantastic, eh? Not sure of the mileage on the motor that is in the car now.

Unknown! Cluster was swapped by previous owner. BUT, I had the cluster from before as an extra. I think it read 198xxx

I believe it. Car has had it, but I am chipping away getting her back.

87 T2 bought it w/ 105,000, its got 140,000 now. She's getting a little tired, but I'll just keep upgrading, I've got 60% of a new motor sitting on my bookshelf already.

87 TII, 209k miles. been through the motor once plus some work while doing some testing. i don't drive as much as i used to so it doesn't get many these days. at about 325-350 wheel horsepower currently with another failed diff mount so developing a front diff mount with replaceable rubber.

S4 n/a, 203k on original engine. I have to use a fuel pump cutoff switch to shut it off or else it floods, but other than that it runs great. Sometimes it takes a little longer to start (3-4 seconds of cranking as opposed to 1-2), but it always does. Sometimes I'll get some smoke on high-RPM upshifts, but switching to a thicker oil (20w-50 from 10w-30) seemed to help quite a bit.
