Who cares about the damn price. Did anything even sound or look like the word price? Hell, hell no. C'mon people, let's make some progress. How many fmic's did Greddy make for the fc?!

dr0x, get a clue. This has everything to do with an fc. Do you speak English fluently?

To everyone else, does anyone know any of the other names/specifics ofthe other kits?

Which kit is it that runs both pipes to and from the fmic on the passenger side?

There were 2 different cores made for the FC. The V-spec, most recent kit and the earlier smaller core kit. Both of these kits were offered with either piping to fit a stock turbo or piping to fit the Greddy turbo kit making 4 different kits. As far as I know thats all the kits that were offered. There may have been more but thats all I know about.

Thanks for the info, 1FastT2!

Oh yeah, and dr0x, as far as this thread having nothing to do with an fc, my first thread says"fc".

THere are currently 3 kits in production 24V, 24R, 32R. There was also one older kit. The 32R uses the '3row' core from the Supra Kit. The cheapest and most popualr now is the 24V.

Ding ding ding. There are better ic's out there for a lot less money. The ford powerstroke ic is 200$ from a dealer and will cool better than anything greddy has ever produced.

The HKS kit is not cheaper. I got my greddy for $975 shipped new in the box. But I have heard the core is bigger on the HKS. ALthough the new greddy kit (look at my avatar) uses a bigger core than the older style and its pretty freaking big....we have to cut on my front to get it to fit...and no fog lights now

Ya I got my kit for $885 shipped to my door. The core is pretty damn big and the piping is the best you can get(or so I was told by the local aluminum welding specialists). The $200 Ford power stroke intercooler is used first off, so go buy a new one and compare. Second its not just about size. Third, you also need piping. So with piping and everything you are looking at AT LEAST half of what the kit costs, but no gurantees on its performance.

Actually, the intercooler is 200$ new. Ive checked with local dealers. Plus it is proven, its on like half a million diesel trucks, those things run 30psi + boost, you think they can afford a shitty intercooler? heh. Plus piping I can make myself. Which really makes it about 80$ piping. You are paying for a brand name, have fun.

Ill be posting some later in the spring. If all goes well I might make a bolt on kit out of this and sell it for ~550$ new. All 3in piping using silicon couplings, beaded aluminum ic piping.

I can go check with the local dealer and I bet you it costs more like $600, than $200. What year/model are you talking about?

Intercoolers are setup for each specific turbo/engine. You can't say just because it works on X car(truck), that its going to work great on Y car. If its as big as you say, you probably see a great pressure drop or turbo lag.
