S4 TII how much power with stock turbo?
I'm doing a TII swap in my 1982 first gen.
I am using a brand new stock turbo, so as it's new, I won't replace it in the near future with some bigger thing. Since I will need to build a custom exhaust anyway, I will go 2.5 or 3", after all it'll be just as hard to build a less restrictive system as it'll be to build something smaller. Also, there's going to be a HKS intake. The ECU might be a stock with fuelcut defender for the first months, but I plan aftermarket rather soon.
All emmission controls will be removed. Later a set of bigger flow injectors will be used and so on.
What I want to know (from paople with experience) is the amount of power you can get out of a setup using the TII engine and turbo, but with changes in intake, exhaust, ECU... After about one year the engine will probable be ported, but that's not sure.
So? How much hp, reliable, and streetable?
I don't have to worry to much about smog.
US engines are different then the european spec I'm using, but just an idea would be ok.
BTW a FD intercooler will be used, and mounted in the front, right in the airstream entering the Mariah airdam, so should get some cooling.
