How to lower boost

How to lower boost

Hey guys I was hoping that you could help me. I need to know if there is a way to lower my boost level or am I stuck running high boost! I have a 89TurboII with racing beat turbo back exhaust, fuel cut defenser, and apex'i air/fuel controller.....stock turbo internal wastegate............maybe this is a dumb question but I was just hoping

Any intake? Return to the stock airbox.
Safety for the motor? Popoff valve (it's not gonna save the turbo though....)

you can put a high flow cat. i think thats the only way. a boost controller wont lower boost it raises it or controls it. so with that exhaust you have your stuck dude. whats the max boost you hit, why do you wanna lower it?

More Restrictive Intake
put restrective plates in your exhaust

porting the wastegate is the way to go. Only downside is you have to pull the turbo off.

how much are you running? with the RB exhaust and stock intake I'm only hitting about 9 in 4th.

Do a search...I answer this before on a thread a few months ago.&nbsp Is it still in here?

Put back on a more restrictive air intake...
Put a 2" restrictor plate in your exhaust system...
