The LT8 primes It for a good 5 seconds. After startup, I don't hear It. The Walbro 255 has less than 600km's on It and I Installed It with the Filter It came with.

Check the filter on the pump. I just pulled mine out today and it was clogged up. The pump is noticely quieter. I can still hear it inside the car, but not outside.

I can hear it sometimes. Do you still have that sound deading mat down?

The relay clicking is louder than the pump from the rewire.

Do the rewire mod. It keeps the restior (sp) pack there. So it drops voltage at idle.

it is supposed to be loud...the stock pump has plastic mechanicals inside that aren't moving as quickly...the walbro has metal pieces inside that are made to withstand the added speed/pressure on the unit...unfortunately the metal internals make it loud. for a quit high flowing pump a stock supra TT pump is a wise choice, i know it used to be the highest flowing pump nippondenso made.
