how to know omp is working

i have stoped useing the 1qt of oil every 1500 milesor so. so i have started useing premix but
is there a way to check or adjust the omp ? 1988 na thanks ashley

There will be oil in the metering lines if it is working.

And oil usage will be dependent on throttle position for a 88. If you don't floor it much you won't use much oil.

And the FSM (links found in the FAQ for FC sticky thread at the top of this section) will giving you how to test it as well as the proper flow rates and what to do it increase or decrease flow based on throttle position.
