Question How to kill the power antenna? Help!

For some reason, my NA S4's power antenna has gone mad.

I hear the little motor trying to raise it... but ALL THE TIME.

The antenna has been broken for a long while, and now, all of a sudden, every time I turn the car on, that little motor goes crazy and starts to make noise as if it were trying to raise the antenna...

... sometimes it stops randomly and then it goes on again by itself... but most of the time it will go on and on until I turn the car off.

Any help? I deas? Is there any way to disable the antenna? I don't listen to radio anyway.

Help!

pull the carpet down in that part of the car and disconnect it from the wiring harness.

If you take the Collar that is Around the Mast of the Antenna off, then Undo Two Ten mm nuts on the Inside of the car,by the Inner Corner of the CarBehind the Flap a bit,you May have to Remove the Trim, and there is a Screw Behind the speaker that is a Bitch to get to,you have to Take the Speaker Cover off). The antenna assembly will just slide down, and then you Pull it out.You will see a Connector ON the Antenna Motor.disconnect that..YOU can always Just Put a Rubber Antenna back on as a replacement.Around this Area ,Kids like to "play with the antennas"(snap them off") so I Replaced mine with the rubber style. It gets good reception.
