I don't think all 3 motors we go out at the same time I could be wrong. As you said I would check lubrication if that checks out ok look into the ground system hope this helps good luck.

Not only do they need grease, they need to be completely clean too.
It takes some time, but start removing interior panels and clean everything super good. That should speed things up

I dont have a sunroof but as a roboticist, Do the sunroof motors use worm gears? If you have two or more motors using worm gears they MUST go the same speed or the system will loose alot of power trying to push the other gear. Imagine removing a nut by pulling on it instead of rotating it.

This is not a lube issue nor cleaning. It must be mal-aligned in some way but I have not tried tackling it yet. Too many other bugs in there to kill.

My sunroof is tempermental, most of the time i have to 'poke' it to open; once it's 'up' it'll move fine on it's own, even fast.
As for the power windows..I've spent a grand total of about 4-5 hours on my passenger window.
Here's what you need to do.
1) Remove BOTH power window switches and rebuild them (dissasmble them and clean all the contacts - if you're even more hardcore S4 switches are better then S5 switches - I rock S4 switches in my S5).
2) If you're still have trouble go out and purchase litium grease, and lube up the felt window tracks - remove your door panel to get better access.
3) Thing still isn't working? unplug the window harness, and remove the power window track/motor assembly. Take a brush/paper towels and make that track shinny. THEN waste half of the lithium grease on that badboy AS well as the beads/engine running gear.
All of this made my passenger window go from won't even go down, to will slowly go down, but needs to be pulled up, to will work up and down by itself.
Good luck.

i had a sunroof that needed to be pushed up too, and slow windows. I removed the windows, cleaned them, blew out the tracks and greased with lithium grease. Problem solved. Did the same with the sunroof, but made sure to clean the **** outta it. There is no point in greasing if you don't clean well, grease is a dirt magnet.
