how i spent my 4th............
how i spent my 4th............
i installed my new eibach anti roll bars, front and rear.
did a little bodywork, cut strut springs.
the car is now lower , stiffer. it's a bit stiff for driving around town but i can't wait to get to the track. glad it's not my daily driver...............
also took out all carpet, radio, and console. i'm going to make a palstic piece to cover the hole.
i'm hoping to get my rollbar sometime soon. as soon as i get the rollcage in i'm going to paint the whole car.

hi paul
i used my little cut off wheel and ground down the metal until the cover just popped off. took about 20 minutes. it was easier than takeing out the carpet...........
when i put the rool cage in i'm going to add some support to the towers i think. any ideas?

Yeah, we formed a pad, within the 100 sq in. rule, that fits around the towers themselves, then welded the downtubes to the pads.. If you want to go further, put a cross bar between the two downtubes, and a diagonal brace.. Those towers won't move a bit.
