How hard would it be

As the thread name implies, i'm curious as to how hard it would be to get a Vortech V-5 F-trim supercharger( The Supercharger ) to run on a Streetported N/A rotary w/ misc. GReddy/Vortech parts (blow-off valve, Vortech fuel regulator, Vortech pulley, etc...)
The main reason I was thinking about this is because : A.It doesn't involve that nasty turbo lag that comes with...well...turbos. B.It's something you don't see too often. I've personally only seen a few of them, most of which aren't in this same setup. & C.That nice screaming effect from under my hood would probably scare the bejesus out of a few people . Until they get to the back, where the dual GReddy P/E pipes would finish them off.

I know piping would have to be customed, not a problem. I was curious as to if I would need an intercooler of some sort & if so, can I just run it like a turbo's FMIC? I'm shooting for somewhere in the 300rwhp range. Would I just be better off going down the TII conver route for those kind of numbers. If so, what would be the best turbo to use for quickest responce(2K range)

Sorry if this sounds a little stupid, it sounds better in my head & right now its just a pipe dream

do a search for supercharger in the forum, there have been several threads the last couple months on people ussing ford's 3.8 SC.

all depends on how you do it.

vortech superchargers are centrifugal. their boost is rpm dependant, right? somewhat similar to lag in a sense. positive displacement superchargers are the same boost across the board i believe.

The centrifugal SC still wouldn't have as much lag as a turbo since it would immediately spool with the engine. As for the differences in the SCs, they make me confused... lol

right, but if youre hung up on low-down, i think the typical solution is positive displacement s-chargers. you can build a turbo setup to reach full boost quite low, whereas, i believe, the centrifugal s-charger may still be building. sport compact car did a breakdown of the systems (turbo, positive displacement sc, centrifugal sc). i also imagine full boost psi is quite another factor. hell, there's a lot of factors.
