Long story short.
Previous engine had all blown seals and the buzzer would constantly go off because of the air in the system (bad seals, bleeding would only relieve for five minutes after filling up).
I grounded the harness wire and left the sensor alone on the radiator.
Now, I'm trying to get the sensor to work again.
I was wondering if your normal, solder the two wires together, would work?
If not, what do I need to do to get the sensor working again?
My temp gauge is broke right now and I'm buying another/ replacing this weekend.


Note: The car is not driveable right now because the clutch disc was too big, and I'm monitoring the rad caps ( Yes caps, s4 water pump/s5 rad.) and the rad hoses.
I just want to have the sensor so I can be 100 percent sure that there isn't any air in the system. And so I'll have it when I get to drive the car this weekend.

 

Can you please stop posting so many threads? Consolidate it all into one "I have no clue what I'm doing, help please" thread.

This totally did not deserve it's own thread... just reconnect the wires back together where you cut them, how is that hard to figure out?

 

These problems have happened over a span of a few days, and yes if I had thought about it I would have just made a thread that said the above.
I had no intent in having so many problems and seeing as most of them have involved different subjects I thought that they each needed to be posted separately.
I by no means thought it was hard to figure out, but the buzzer didn't go off on me and I'm pretty sure that the coolant is low.
This verified that what I did should make the sensor work.

 

Buy a new sensor.
