How to fix Logicon, specifically heater control. Help!

I read the archives on www.rx7club.com, seems as if I cannot adjust the heat on my ride. The last owner ran into the problem and eventually tie-raped the heat lever under the dash for the winter.

I plan on attempting to fix or replace parts to get it all to work.
I dont know whats wrong, shorted, siezed motor?? or cold solder joints?? no i dea what to expect when I pull the stuff out..

I just want any input at all on doing this job, just want to know what to expect.

Check out http://www.teamfc3s.org/faq/FAQ.html#s2log for the details. If it looks like too much work then you can look at http://www.k2rd.com/Online_Catalog/E...vice-index.htm . They fix them for $50.
