I'm with HondaHater. Well not so much on the hating of hondas, but my top speed was somewhere in the range of 1mph.

Does everyone realize that the speedo's in our cars are notoriously inaccurate over 100 MPH by as much as +5 to +10 MPH which makes you think you are going faster then you really are.

Oh, seriously?

I doubt that'd make a difference with me though. My speedo is off by 5-10mph anyway.

I read somewhere on page two, that some dude did 125 on a blown rotor - how? Without blowing up the motor?

And, bring a GPS with you to get true speed. I know my GPS will display 110, at least.

i think the only thing limiting a gps speed is the number of digits on the display

after suspension is done (which will be a while, heh) i expect ~165. Dunno. N/As speedometers stop at, what, 140? It's been a while since I've been in the car, heh. I'll certainly be able to bury the speedometer, though. Hell, I did that in the 850.

Ive had my 88 vert with the top up at around 150 mph the needle was pegged past it where the 155-160 mph mark might have been.

155 about. showing a honda the awesome power of the 7. on a back road in Daytona at a light a civic revs his engine at me with a few of his friends in the car. the road is like 8miles in a straight line. its like 4am and theres no one on the road. so i let him launch on me. he takes off. dont even give my car gas. then a few miles down the road i make a pass at about 145-150 while he was going around 45. i wouldnt have been suprised if i sucked the door of his car.
