How fast have you had ur FC
Back when I was young and stupid (not older and stupid like I am now!) we did these on public roads!
135 in my '88 na
140 in my friend Dave's '90 na
155 in my friend Chad's modded Conquest TSI
165 in my friend Chad's '90 Corvette.
The Vette was very smooth and stable at that speed. It was a nice straight strectch of highway 59 somewhere south of Houston. Then again I wasn't driving. Obviously we didn't do that speed for the whole trip but we did go from Corpus Christy to the north side of Houston in 2 hours flat! Look up the distance on a map, take into account smaller streets within the city and then figure it out! The RX-7's got a little loose. A little suspension work would fix that though.

210km or 130mph, will never do again. For part of that run I think my intercooler hose was off(well that's why i stopped heh and water temp). We need better roads.
I get sick of people asking me "What have you had it up to?"

I made 112 on a flat deserted road in northern Mexico when I chickened out. Still had lots of pedal left, though.
(guess I'm a relative speed pansy compared to some)

hoping that a hard sustained run would pop the motor and give me reason to pull it out... but she kept going!
