No are cars do not have a speed governer.

varies depending on model. slowest (s5 vert) would probably be ~120mph, fastest (s5 tii) probably ~145mph.

The S4 Vert-Automatic combo is probably the slowest, man. Gearing ends at like 130, but probably wont break 110.

if your speedo like mine doesn't go past 160.... don't expect it to hit there with out mods (88 n/a )

They pretty much do -- it's called 5th gear. Sooo high. I don't think I've had mine much over 5000 in 5th, just too much drag.

If you've got an n/a you should be good to like 230 or so. Take it out on the 400 and find out! Though the radio today said they're thinkin' about bringing back photo radar.

Officially Mazda did not have any 88 'verts with auto tranny.

And even the few that do exist, if you run the VINs they are listed as manual tranny cars

Turbo cars are geared to run at 160mph at redline(7000rpm) in 5th gear.

N/As are geard for 175mph I believe in 5th gear at (8000rpms??)

I had my old gxl with some mods up to 135MPH and that took like a life time to get up there.

I had my 90 to 145-150 on the speedo, but taking error into account thats prolly more like 130-140 I guess
