not just gxl, different ones did, but just use the search button on the bottom and put in "rear seats" and you will find all you need.

It is not hard at all! Theres quite a few threads on it already

They are rather small seats tho, ideal only for emergancies and young children.

Also, if you have a convertable, then you wont be able to put in the rear seats, obviously :-p

Good luck.

hehe...I've taken trips with people in my backseat...I just laugh at them. But they do fit my 6x9's in a box perfectly...so if you want to know how big they are...they'll fit a speaker comfortably

A liitle little kid could sit in the back of my vert with the top up, They would be something to see. I alsso had a 944 and those back sit could barely fit a midget and their bigger than rx7 seats.

putting in speakers instead of seats is a hella lot better plus you dont have dead weight from the people sitting there

I put some back seats in my '90 black interior. I found some grey rear seats, had them reupholstered_(black). I love them. It's true that they are small, but for kids and emergencies, the are great. I wanted some rear seats because I found myself only using the cargo boxes for junk... you know like stuff that I had forgotten about.
Anyway, I also found a rear black Cargo Cover and this really give my RX7 a "rare" type of look. The seats DO fold down BTW. The only bad thing will be the carpet. You will have to cut it in th section where the two cargo boxes go and you'll end up with two holes in the back of your seat... You'll have to be creative there unless you find the rear carpet for a 2+2 to match the interior of you car. Mine is black and I have not found one in many many years of searching (..still looking).
Good Luck.
