i was thinking it would look better in a white vert...with black interior of coarse..and some tasteful red accents in the car.

if i do it ill put a nice black embroidery on the seats to bring it together..and some smal black and red accents on the door part..maybe an e- brake boot..and if i ever do the manual swap a nice shift boot in red too or a black one with red stitching..or vice versa

nothing ricey or gaudy..thats not my intentions..just enough to blend the red seats with the totally black interior.

and im thinking now about the white vert with black interior andim gonna retract that..only if you went all out red inside of a white vert would it work..in my opinion

thanks for feedback

selling my newly leathered black vert seats soon prefer local florida guys...going fd seats all the way..much better!! il never go back!!

They might look not too bad, hard to kinda judge I think... but if the price is right, I'd do it.

please no. I just cannot picture it looking good - but, if you do go ahead and do it and the seats look good, I will be the first to compliment you on it.

FD seats are very hard to fit into a FC and will require custom mounting brackets to be made.

as far as fitting goes i already have tan fd seats and have gotten them in cleanly and it took some time to get used to the tan, shocking my all black interior..but ive posted already how much better the fd seats feel in the car...10000 times better..when the rpms go up and the car starts pulling you into the seat, the fd seats feel like they are all around you but at the same time they feel like they are not there at all!! indescribable what a difference they make..and i have all new cushions in my old vert seats with new black leather too..the atmosphere and feel of the fd seats are way better. im selling the vert seats and staying with the fd seats..im just trial and error-ing the colors that i can make work in my car now.

i had a local guy selling the red seats and i got them at a fair price...they look good so i bought them. ive got the tan out and the red in now and im gonna give it a week(like i did with the tan that i have grown to love the contrast) but im really not sure i will take to the red..they are basically a hookers red lipstick color..sitting in my all black interior..like i said it will take time to decide. i truly imagine in the long run going with a tan or black fd seat..but my first impression with the lipstick red seats that are a beautiful color..im thinking 80s look and not willing to accept that in the vert. i wish i could take pics and post and get some other feedback..but lack of a digcam makes that impossible now.

the hardest part will be that any other color than black will mean other interior color changes in a small amount and tasteful fashion..so without having the other accents integrated it will always stand out a little with a different color than black...other factors will be if i can find leather to accent at a reasonable cost that will truly match..and whether i can accentuate with the same stitching as in the seats..im going for mild tasteful not gaudy ricey contrast!! cost effectiveness will play a huge role in the color i decide on. so as far as the go and do it input..im there and thanks for the support..but for the nay sayers..im there too..ill spend some time visualizing and imagining whats possible...and probly, like i said, go with black or tan...i guess only time will tell.

i thank both sides of input and feedback, and regret that im not in a position to show anyone what ive tried so far

need a ******* digcam!!

the other big factor with the fd seats is that im getting a m-style/shaped roll-bar..which will fit the fd seats head rest style nicely but not the squared look of the fc vert seats.

Recover the tan fd seats and get a tan top to match- on a black vert, it would look sweet. I have thought about doing the same...

I think rx-8 seats would set off an fc. Try it ,you can always change if you don't like.
