How do you tell a T2 tranny from NA?

If you have 2 trannies sitting side by side how do you tell the difference. I tried the search but couldn't find anything. Thanks, Clint Z

T2 tranny has ribbed sides while the NA is smooth. The weight difference is noticable the T2 tranny weighs quite a bit more.
