How do you tell mineral oil from synthetic oil?

I know this question is going to make me sound like a tool, but I know not to put synthetic oil in my 90 rx7...
Every other car I've had I just used synthetic.
I bought some 10w-30 earlier and it doesn't say synthetic anywhere on it...
So is that the right stuff ?

Yup, if no reference to synthetic, just plain old motor oil.
