How do you remove the primary oil injectors?
I got the oil injectors off of the LIM but I can't seem to be able to fit a wrench on the 2 oil injectors on the block. I feel like im taking crazy pills!
Has anyone else had this problem? It seems like my wrenchs are too think. I even have some old school snapon's that are pretty skinny and they wont fit ether..
Thanks in advance for any insight

If you can grip it just enough with the regular wrench, you may be able to turn it so you can fit the wrench in there nicely. After that it's just a matter of being patient and flipping the wrench 180* every other turn to get it to go in the right angle... I haven't had to modify mine, but you will most likely scratch the LIM.

No I am going to reuse them, I just need too rotate them so that the oil line intake on it is facing more towards the vacuum spider since I'm making new oil injection lines. Trying to get rid of the 180 turn they would other wise have too make.

Grind down a cheap wrench. I think 14MM fits. I have an old Toyota branded wrench in my toolbox that I have ground down specifically for this purpose.
Don't Vice Grip the nozzles if you plan on reusing them. And why shouldn't you reuse them again? The stock system works fine and doesn't require silly things like premixing. Clean those nozzles, replace the lines and it will be good for another 20 years.

The nozzles are hella beefy. I've pulled 3 or 4 engines worth with no intentions of re-using any of them and I haven't even scratched em. You're not going to damage them with a vice-grips.
You will, however, damage a wrench by grinding it
Don't let the wrench get hot when you grind it....only a second or two at the most. If it turns blue/purple, it's lost it's heat treat and may break.

Hi Guys....................... My method ..buy a good open end 14mm wrench. measure the width of the oil injector( where the wrench should fit)then from the side of a bench grinder slowly taper grind the tip of the wrench till the thickness of the wrench at the base nearly fits the injector ( kind of tight) then cut off the box end of the tool and grind flat, smooth at corners, slip a piece of silicone tube over top of the handle. now place the wrench over the oiler, with the wrench handle on a 45 degree angle, from the left.,then take a nice hammer and strike the handle of the tool towards the oiler it might require two blows but,,,,the oiler will suddenly go loose ......................works every time,................................. PS I re-use all my oilers unless they where previously damaged

those were mine he removed actually... they came out very easily. no need to really grip them with the vice grips.
as far as them being hand tight... as far as they were not leaking all over the engine, then they were fine.
