How do you order a stud?
Hi everyone, my question is about studs in general.
When searching for a particular stud, how do you describe it?
The size and length of studs along with the thread pitch is evident, M10x1.25 50mm long.
But how do you describe the unthreaded shank length and the unequal threaded lengths?
I am a novice DYI person and trying to understand these particular parts!

Pretty much how you have described. Size, pitch, threaded lengths, unthreaded length.
Belmetric might have what you need. https://belmetric.com/studs-and-rods...e&filterPage=1
