Nut/bolt size question. I searched, and that made me have another question.

Okay, I'm searching for the intake manifold nut/bolt sizes. The sizes for the UIM to VDI to LIM nuts and bolts.

Every single thread I can find gets me directed to this archived page.
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...take+nut+sizes

I'm not for sure if I linked that correctly or not, but it is the archived master list of thread sizes for 2nd gen nuts and bolts.

The thing is, I've read that list over and over; there isn't any information for the intake manifolds on the list.
I found a post by AaronCake on another thread that said they were M8, but I'm still confused if it is M8 or M8X1.25 or etc.
If I can't figure it out I'll just buy a variety of m8 nuts/studs and hope that some of them are the right ones.

Thanks, and any help is appreciated as always.

Why don't you get a thread pitch gauge? Then, once you've determined what the pitch is, use an open-end wrench (metric, obviously) and use it as a go/no-go tool to figure out how big the bolt is. Thread pitch gauges are a necessity if you're going to be working on cars. Or you could just take one of the nuts/bolts down to the parts store and match it up.

M8 x 1.25. Almost all the M8 threads on the car are 1.25.
