There is a little **** on the bottom of the head light unit that you can turn to manually raise and lower the lights.
But once you flip them up or back down, you will have to manually reset it.

With that being said, sleepy eyes are kind of lame. The only reason why i would want them is if I were to do a headlight conversion with 2 round bulbs and there was space under them, and "sleepy eyes" eliminated that gap.

the fc guys dont really like sleepy eyes.. the FC's design looks different.. on S13 240sx, its more at home due to its design. I think thats the only car that can pull em off cleanly.

Besides, 90percent of people who do it, are usually too high/ making the car look goofy

remove the moter and take the black plastic off tape off part of the track to find the right spot

and then scuff the with heavy sand paper and appy a thin dot of two part epoxy to make it permanant. looks somthing like this when done

why make it permanent when you can make it look like sleepy eyes when you want by placing a switch at the retractor fuse in the engine bay and when you want to use it turn on your headlights and then just put the switch on and off untill you get the lights at the position that you want it will get some pics later on

cus im not lazy. would rather have it just stop there and not need to flip a switch or any crap like that.
1) go to junkyard and get small headlights
2) make a bracket to make them fit
3) mod the motor to stop where you want them.
now they dont look broken and they look much sleeker
I used the lights out of a 96 r6. but there are lots of options out there.

nillahcaz's method is great if your going to swap some low profile headlights in there.. it will automatically be at the correct hieght with whatever low pro lights you fit in there... Got any pics of ur lights? I cant imagine r6 bike lights being very good though for a car...
