How do you clean injectors?
Is it possible to clean them out enough with only some cleaner in the gas? I know taking them out is going to work a lot better, but makes things more difficult. If taking them out is the only good way, then what does it involve? What parts will I need to put them back in (gaskets, seals, ect.) And what type of cleaner is best, and what procedure is best? Sending them away is not an option due to the fact that there is only about two good months left of no-snow weather. Any ideas?

The cleaner I used worked great, my secondaries were so gummed up I couldn't get past 7500 RPM's.
I either used that Chevron with Techron stuff, or some STP stuff, can't remember.

I'm guessing both of you are talking about a cleaner that you just add to the gas. That is what I was hoping to hear. Would you recomend that I use it with a full tank; or maybe a half tank to make it a little more concentrated?

If you want to clean them as well as can be done without removing them use a can of 44K made by BG Products (bgprod.com) available at my Mazda dealer. This is the only fuel system cleaner that will open a closed injector ! I add a can once a year to both cars.
