How do you adjust the idle?

I have a 1987 turbo II and it idles at 1 1/2 thousand rpm all the time i was wondering how to adjust the idle on the engine .... i recently traded my Honda Crx for this car and im totally lost .... i need to read up on rotary engines.... someone please help

Should check for vacuum leaks first, and your engine timing.

You have 3 ways to adjust the idle. Each has different purposes.

1. There is a screw on top of the throttlebody that you can adjust.
2. You can also adjust the rich/lean screw buy the air filter area.
3. Your Throttle Positioning sensor.
